Educational Qualification:

As per the Navik (GD) positions in Indian Coast Guard, the candidates should pass the minimum qualification of 12th Pass with Maths and Science to apply. Find below detailed information about the post announced recently

• Navik (General Duty) – 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE)

Age Limit:

The candidates should have the following age limit to eligible for the Indian Coast Guard Navik GD Recruitment 2024 Notification. Candidates need to check and verify your eligibility of age limit before applying for the post mentioned

• Navik (General Duty) – Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years. Candidates should be born between 01 Sep 2002 to 31 Aug 2006 (both dates inclusive) applying for post of Navik (GD).

Note: Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if, posts are reserved for them.

Salary:

The selected candidates will get monthly salary as per the central government recruitment norms mentioned below

The selection of candidate is based on All India order of merit based on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV, meeting the laid down medical standards during medical examination and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage-I, II, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is clickpulsory for recruitment in ICG. All candidates will be clickpulsorily subjected to identity check prior clickmencement of the examination of Stage- I, II, III of CGEPT. The identity check will include verification / matching of following at all stages of selection procedure

• Stage I (Computer Based Examination & Biometric Recording)
• Stage II (Assessment / Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification & Recruitment Medical Examination)
• Stage III (Document Verification, Pre-enrolment Medicals at INS Chilka)
• Stage IV – The candidates undergoing training at INS Chilka are to submit all original documents during Stage-III and verification of all original documents through Boards / Universities / State government will be carried out by Indian Coast Guard. Candidate will be terminated from service if documents are reported as not genuine by respective Boards / Universities / State government
