SAIL OCTT Recruitment 2024 Notification Out – Advertisement NO. 01/2024 for 314 Positions: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) invites online applications from young and energetic candidates for the appointment of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) – (OCTT) in various disciplines. These positions are to be filled in SAIL’s five integrated plants, three special steel plants, centralized units, and mines at different locations across India. • SAIL OCTT Recruitment 2024 Salary:

During the training  period, SAIL will be paid consolidated pay of ₹ 16,100/- for the 1st year and ₹ 18,300/- for the 2nd year of training for Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) (OCTT).
They will also get for free medical facility, leave etc. as per rules of the company.
On successful completion of training, they shall be considered for regular employment in S-3 grade in the scale of pay of ₹ 26600-3%-38920/-(S-3).

• SAIL OCTT Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

(1) Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years.
(2) Age relaxation as per rules.

Educational Qualifications:

(1) Matriculation with 03 years (Full Time) Diploma in relevant discipline from Govt. recognized university / institute.
(2) Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50% for Unreserved posts & post reserved for OBC/ EWS, 40% for posts reserved for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Departmental Candidates.

• SAIL OCTT Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

Candidates eligible for the recruitment process will need to participate in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in Hindi or English. The CBT comprises 100 objective-type questions divided into two segments, with 50 questions on Domain Knowledge and 50 on Aptitude Test. The duration of the CBT is set at 90 minutes.
The minimum qualifying marks in the CBT will be determined based on a 50 percentile score for unreserved/EWS posts and a 40 percentile score for posts reserved for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/ PwBDs.
It’s important to note that the Skill Test is only of a qualifying nature.
Candidates will be permitted to participate in the CBT/Skill Test upon presenting the call letter/admit card, a government-approved photo identity proof, and after undergoing biometric authentication at the venue.
